Get into focus. Stay there.
Most focus fixes add something to your body. Caffeine, nootropics, one more supplement that works for a week. Skopos takes something away. The amber lens filters the high-energy light that keeps your screen feeling loud, so your eyes settle and your attention stays where you put it. Nothing to take. Nothing to build a tolerance to. Put them on and get to work.
Put them on when you sit down for focused work: deep work, long reading, anything that needs sustained attention. Most people notice a quieter, steadier feeling within the first session. The colour shift is real at first: the world turns warm, the way a room looks under lamplight. Your eyes adjust within minutes and you stop noticing it. We don't recommend wearing them while driving or operating machinery.
Your Monk glasses come with a protective box, a travel case and a microfibre cloth.

I keep these beside my notebook. Putting them on has become my cue to start writing, and taking them off marks the end of the session. I still get distracted sometimes, obviously, but I like having that little routine. The clear frames suit me as well.
I mainly use these for writing and spreadsheets, and I'm really happy with the warmer view. I take them off when a task needs accurate colours. Keeping them for text-heavy sessions works well for me, and they've become a regular part of my desk setup.
I always to pomodoro sessions and I put these on, work for 25 and then take them off for my 5 min break and the put them on again. I have never done more than 6 in a row but now I do 9 easy
I was unsure I'd actually use these, but they've stayed beside my laptop all week. I like the warm tint for reading and the frame feels comfortable on my face. Putting them on before a work session is becoming a nice habit. Very happy so far.
The Monk Lens is cognitive eyewear, not everyday glasses. One amber-tinted lens, one job.
Filters the light that keeps you on alert.
Enough light gets through to stay sharp.
A warmer view your eyes prefer all day.
Most focus tools add something to your body. Skopos changes what reaches your brain. Here's how it compares.
Blue light helps keep us awake and alert. Long screen sessions, however, can leave your eyes tired and uncomfortable.
Monk filters 79% of blue light across 380–500 nm. The warmer view can help your eyes feel calmer and make it easier to focus on your work.
Natural blue light helps keep us awake, energised and alert throughout the day. The goal is not to eliminate it, but to find a better balance.
Looking directly into a screen means prolonged exposure to a bright, artificial light source. That intensity and mix of wavelengths keep the eyes working without feeling at rest, leading to tired eyes and, over time, headaches.
Prolonged exposure increases stress hormones and leaves us overstimulated. That heightened state can feel like concentration, even when we struggle to feel calm and settled.
Monk filters the intense light that strains the eyes and contributes to mental overstimulation. By reducing that strain, the glasses help the eyes feel calmer and the brain settle into deeper focus.
Blue light still plays an important role in daytime alertness. That is why Monk filters 79% of blue light across 380–500 nm, allowing some through to help us stay awake without feeling overstimulated.
¹ 78.99% filtered, calculated from the report’s blue-light transmittance value (Tsb: 21.01%, 380–500 nm).
² 87.03% luminous transmittance (Tv), weighted for human daylight vision. This is not a simple average across the spectrum.
The reference light is CIE LED-B5, from CIE 015:2018. Its highest point is set to 100. The filtered curve is calculated by multiplying that spectrum by lens transmission at each wavelength. Both views use the same scale; the filtered curve is not rescaled. This is a modelled example, not a measurement of your screen.
Lens measurements dated 16 September 2025. The 10 nm lens measurements are linearly interpolated to match the 5 nm reference spectrum. The chart describes light filtering, not measured changes in focus, eye strain or headaches.

At 450 nm, Monk filters 96.28% of incoming light. The same reference LED light, before the lens.

Monk Lens is made from skin-friendly, hypoallergenic materials and weighs about 25 grams, so it sits comfortably on your nose and behind your ears through a full day at the screen.
Everything you need to know before you buy.
For the first minute or two, yes. Everything warms. Then your eyes adjust and you stop noticing it.
Designed to be comfortable enough that you forget you're wearing them, so technically yes. But they work best as a signal to your brain. On when you work, off when you don't.
Most people notice something in the first session. Some take a few days. If you don't notice anything in 30 days, send them back.
Skopos Monk Lens is non-prescription. Prescription options are on the roadmap. Sign up to our newsletter and be first to know when we make prescription glasses available.
We don't recommend it.
I like having a physical reminder to settle down and work.
A deeper blue than expected. Looks great on.
Anna, glad the deeper blue turned out to be a colour you love. Thanks for sharing that detail for anyone weighing up the shade!
I find it easier to start writing once these are on.
I was unsure I'd actually use these, but they've stayed beside my laptop all week. I like the warm tint for reading and the frame feels comfortable on my face. Putting them on before a work session is becoming a nice habit. Very happy so far.
Jakub, thank you for such a thoughtful review. Going from unsure you'd use them to keeping them beside your laptop is great to hear. We're glad the fit and warm tint suit you, and we hope you keep enjoying that little start-of-work ritual.
Very happy. No sitting unused in a drawer.
Subtle indoors, more colour by the window. Love that.
Hardly notice them on my face. Lovely.
Long reports feel nicer to read in these. Very pleased.
Took a day to adjust to the tint. Love wearing them now.
Barely notice the bridge. Really pleased with the fit.
Chloé, so glad the bridge feels comfortable and the fit works for you. That's a detail you notice when it isn't right, so we really appreciate you mentioning it!
Forgot I had them on.
Putting them on helps me switch into work mode.
Putting these on makes starting a task feel easier.
Using them much more than I expected.
Great
Simple design and a comfortable fit for me
Quiet colour, nice shape. Very happy with my choice.
Wearing them every workday now. Very pleased.
I'm a creative director, we're a small team. The post-lunch focus drop was genuinely hurting our output. I bought a pair, talked about it, and two colleagues ordered within a week. Not a bad endorsement.
Been through the whole stack. L-theanine with caffeine, lion's mane, alpha-GPC, even a month of modafinil. They all do something for a couple of weeks, then you're back to square one. These don't wear off because it's not chemistry, it's just light.
Find the warmer tint pleasant when I'm reading.
Matte black looks great on my desk and on my face.
Great fit for my face. No squeezing.
Stay put when I'm looking between my notebook and screen.
I mainly use these for writing and spreadsheets, and I'm really happy with the warmer view. I take them off when a task needs accurate colours. Keeping them for text-heavy sessions works well for me, and they've become a regular part of my desk setup.
Magnus, thank you for such a useful account of how you wear them. Great to hear they're a regular part of your writing and spreadsheet sessions. Taking them off for accurate colour work makes sense with the amber tint. We appreciate you sharing the distinction so clearly.
The warmer view suits me perfectly.
Wasn't sure about amber at first. Now I really like it.
Love these for the writing part of my day. Off for photo colour checks.
Look better on me than I'd hoped. Love the green.
A little different without being too much
Arms open smoothly and sit evenly. Happy. Also very nice packaging
Sofia, smooth hinges, an even fit and packaging you enjoyed opening. We love hearing about those details. Thanks for taking the time to share them!
Happy with them. A smaller size would be nice.
Piotr, we'd love to be part of your desk setup again. Thanks for the smaller-size suggestion. If your current pair feels too wide or slips, please contact support privately so we can help with the fit rather than leave you putting up with it.
Look great i wish the arms had a little more give.
Jasper, glad the look works for you, and thanks for the feedback on the arms. If the stiffness is making them uncomfortable, please contact support privately so we can help assess the fit. Please avoid forcing or bending the arms yourself.
I bought these for a mix of writing and image editing. The tint is fine for documents, but I can't judge colours properly with them on. I keep switching back and forth and end up leaving them off. Wish I'd understood that trade-off more clearly beforehand.
Martin, thank you for explaining how you use them. The amber tint changes colour appearance, so taking them off for colour-critical image editing is the right approach. I'm sorry that trade-off wasn't clear enough before you ordered. If switching between tasks makes them impractical for you, please contact support privately so we can check your return options.
shipping was too slow
Zofia, I'm sorry the delivery took longer than you expected. Please send our support team your order number privately and let us know whether your parcel has arrived. We can then check the tracking and help you understand what happened or what comes next.
